Sales Executive

A Sales Executive within Underlined is an intermediary between the client/partner and the organization. You are responsible for developing and maintaining the relationship with existing clients/partners, by advising them about business cases or issues and you make sure the agreements made with the client are fulfilled. You also focus on generating new business by constantly looking for new sales opportunities. A Sales Executive works closely with the products and projects team to make sure clients/partners are supported properly. The Sales Executive reports to the Head of Sales and Marketing.

Role description
  • Manage existing sales accounts and create strategic account plans;
  • Initiate sale cycle (planning meetings with clients through (cold) acquisition);
  • Collect strategical market information by following products of competitors and clients feedback;
  • Signalizing clients and partners needs, act on these needs and translate the customer’s business needs into the right Customer Experience solution and analysis approach;
  • Is a sparring partner for directors and senior management in the field of data science and customer experience management and negotiate on these levels;
  • Document client deals and make sure administration on a client/partner is up-to-date;
  • Defining the solution together with the customer and then further developing this with the project team into a project approach;
  • Increase turnover and achieve targets.

Knowledge and experience

  • You have at least HBO work and thinking level;
  • You have a quantitative background in Sales & Marketing;
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience;
  • Experience with consultative selling is a plus.
